LG X Power Review
The well-known company LG has already shown us a whole bunch of smartphones from the X-series. The hero of our review is the LG X Power smartphone, which can run on a single battery charge for a long time.
But let’s get everything in order …
We got a test model in a white case. Personally, this color is very pleasant to me, but this is a personal matter for everyone. The appearance is very laconic; the smartphone has nothing superfluous. The back cover is located the main camera unit and flash. But centered logo of the manufacturer. And as already accepted for budget LG smartphones, the multimedia dynamic is located in the bottom left of the cover.
It is worth noting that the housing of the smartphone LG X Power is not folding, so the build quality can be called excellent. With physical impact, nothing creaks. The back cover of the device is made of plastic and has a relief pattern on which fingerprints are almost not left.
The right side has only the on/off button of the device. On the left side are the volume control buttons and a tray for two SIM cards LG X Power Review.
At the top there is only an additional microphone, at the bottom of our hero in the center there is a connector for charging, and to the left of it, there is a connector for connecting a headset.
On the front panel, too, nothing unusual, the front camera with a light sensor, in the center of the speaker. LG decided not to change the traditions and slapped another logo, which is presented below.
Display smartphone LG X Power
The diagonal of the display is 5.3 inches; it is made using IPS technology, the resolution is 1280×720 pixels.
As it should be for modern displays, the viewing angles are maximum; the color reproduction is at the level. But ka for me, then the maximum brightness is not enough. When using X Power in the sun, there is an overwhelming desire to find a shadow. Supports multitouch up to 10 touches.
Iron, autonomous operation time
As expected for line X, the smartphone is equipped with a budget iron. The heart of the smartphone is the 4-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, whose cores operate at a clock frequency of 1.3 GHz. The processor helps to work 2 GB of RAM. For storing user files, there is 16 GB of internal memory plus support for microSD cards up to 32 GB.
At first glance, it may favor that this is “too” a budget iron. But with a built-in 4100 mAh battery, a smartphone with such characteristics shows simply fantastic battery life results. When using the smartphone for “all 100”, it will work for you a full day and light (from 8 am to 10 pm), but this is on condition that you will not turn it off AT ALL.
So, he easily lives with me TWO DAYS with 5-6 hours of active display. In addition to excellent battery life, the LG X Power smartphone also supports charging functions for other devices via an OTG cable.
X Power Camera
As for the cameras of the smartphone, then not everything is unique, at least for me. The main camera is with a resolution of 13 megapixels cannot be called excellent, but the “bad” one cannot be said of it either. All within reason, as for a smartphone in this price segment. Examples of images are located below.
As you can see for yourself, in daylight, the pictures are sturdy. But if it is already dusk or dark at all, then problems begin. That focus badly catches, then the quality for unknown reasons turns into disgusting. But despite this, if you catch a little, even under these conditions, you can get pictures of decent quality. The front camera in this unit has a resolution of 5 megapixels, I will not say anything about it, except that it just is there. By the way, both cameras can record video in full HD.
Devices were running the operating system Android 6.0. At the time of writing, the current version of Android 6.0.1 firmware. Even though the proprietary shell works on top of Android, it practically does not change the system, and it works very well.
Of the useful shell chips, you can note unlocking your smartphone with double tapes, programmable volume buttons, choosing between the main screen view.
This LG X Power is several options to choose from without a separate application menu, with a separate menu, with a separate menu with a simplified view. For this, LG is a huge plus, as the user is not limited in any way. There is also a proprietary ability to customize the touch buttons. By default, there are four of them; they have this arrangement: back, home, multitasking menu, the button for changing SIM-cards.
As for me, that is one of the candidates for the purchase for those who just need a workhorse for two SIM-cards, which is a “smartphone” and can live on a single charge for about three full days. If you’re not going to play games like Modern Warfare 4 or something like this, then look at this particular model. Smartphone LG X Power is a worthy candidate to buy.
